the floor plan...

Thought you might like to see the floor plan.. Red lines are walls we have built, blue lines are walls that have been removed and yellow lines show doorways... The heavy white line shows the front door.. well, the front door we will use.. there is another front door along the same wall right about where the numbers 35.3 are. We aren't quite sure why that door is there.

We take off again tomorrow afternoon. I will continue to mudd and tape the bedroom hallway and into the living room. Hubby will be trying to figure out what to do with the residual glue on the floor left over from removal of those ceramic tiles.

Tonight we went down to get some more corner bead and stopped by Lumber Liquidators to ask a question and found out that the floor we liked "Chilton Woods" is being discontinued. Now we have to decide whether we change the floor to some other color OR pay shipping to have enough boxes to do our 1700 sq feet of space. hm....

And next week I get to go and order the new kitchen. I'm excited...

And I picked up some color swatches from Lowes.. I'll show you what I pick next week. I'm taking them out to hang on the walls and see what color I like as the light changes...

I just love that the sewing room is one of the biggest rooms in the house...big enough to have a long-arm machine, I think!!! :) I"m glad you explained where you'll have a front door as I was having trouble figuring out where that was!

How nice! Isn't that always the way, I think that sometimes they see us coming (about the discontinued flooring)... don't they just know that's what you want!
Your moving right along! What an improvement! And such a little amount of time!
Guess I will have to show my DH how you guys are doing... maybe he can take a little hint! LoL... poor guy won't know what hit him!

Great floor plan. You are making great progress and quickly as well. Love the sewing space.

Have a super productive weekend.

Lucky you to have a wonderfully full sized sewing area. Plus I see it is in an area away from the bedrooms and the living room so not in full sight!
Are you planning on carpet or flooring in your sewing room? That's something I've debated about in mine - currently it is carpeted but to have no carpeting is very tempting.
